The Dig in Community – Details

We are so excited to be able to begin and share this journey with you and your children!

There are a few exciting things I’d like to tell you so that you’re prepared when it’s time to begin.

The Link Up

Each week there is an “Oasis” after the study. When we hit the Oasis, there is going to be a link up on Wednesdays here on the blog for you all to come and share your progress with everyone. We would LOVE to see how the Dig is working in your family!! This offers the community inspiration and ideas for their own Bible study time.

So be sure to have that camera ready to snap a few photos during your study time!

Guest Posts

We invite you to sign up to guest post!! At each Oasis and Link Up, we will also feature one of YOU to share your experience with the Dig. If this is something you’d be interested in, please sign up in the comment section at the bottom of this post. This is an awesome opportunity to share in community and get a little traffic to your blog, too! πŸ˜‰ But we need you to sign up so we can give you a date. Don’t wait, spots are limited!!

What does a guest do?

A guest shares their family’s experience with the Dig on a particular week. We ask that you please include at least one photo that shows “The Dig” in action in some way. It could be teaching it, or an activity, a conversation, a role play, etc.

If you’re interested, simply leave a comment {with a valid email} letting me know and I’ll contact you with more details! Guests will be chosen on a first come, first served basis.

About Christin

The Dig Community Coordinator
Christin loves coming alongside and helping to create community and connection. She is here at the Dig to do just that!
She has a heart to encourage and equip women in aspects of discipleship, marriage, mothering, writing, blogging, and community. She sees the body of Christ as an important community of encouragement and discipleship and works to foster that around the web. Her biggest ministry is to her family and she knows how beautiful, hard, overwhelming, and exhausting mothering can be. Her passion is to encourage mothers who need a challenge or a lift (or both). She has been married 11 years and has 5 children ranging in age from 10 down to 2.

You can find her on her blog Joyful Mothering and chatting it up on Twitter as @ChristinWrites

We are a homeshool family since 1997. We will begin the Dig on Monday Sept 10 as our Bible time for school. My kids are 11, 7, 5, & 2 and we are also getting ready to adopt three kids! The Dig seems very doable and interesting for my age range. Plus, I love my kids getting in God’s word, it’s my passion! I started school late this year due to a stomach virus that hit us last week! Maybe next time I can do a guest post!
