Would you like the classic design of Cinderella’s castle? Does the Sleeping Beauty Castle capture your heart? Or are you more interested in the tall towers of the Beast’s castle? When you dig down into it, it comes down to what style captures your imagination.

That’s why we have decided to put together this ranking of top Disney castles to help you figure out which one will reign supreme as your favourite. So which one will be crowned the winner? Read on to find out:

1. Disneyland Paris (Le Chateau De La Bella Au Bois Dormant)

On our top list is Disneyland Paris, Le Chateau De La Bella Au Bois Dormant. You’ll find this Disney Castle bigger and more improved version of Disneyland California, Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

The reason to score the top position on this list is its size, beauty, magical and sparkly. And you’ll also find a dragon in the cave beneath.

If you wish to visit Disneyland Paris, this is a top photo opportunity and a perfect way for you can kick off a magical day. The castle may have a similar size to Cinderella Castle, but the disney’s imagineers decided to make this castle more fantastical due to the fact that France already has so many chateaus and castles.

In addition, the castle has done much on light show in the event and really is awe-inspiring.

2. Tokyo Disneyland (Cinderella Castle)

Another great Disneyland castle to visit is Tokyo Disneyland. This is home to Cinderella Castle, which took inspiration from the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. And because this castle and Magic Kingdom’s castle look similar, we have ranked them back-to-back.

This Cinderella Castle is where you will find Cinderella’s FairyTale Hall. And the amazing thing about Tokyo Disneyland is that it added access for all its guests. So, if you visit this castle, you can walk through its FairyTale Hall without an extra cost to see the well-known glass slipper.

Another great thing you’ll come across in this castle is the snowfall — this Tokyo Disneyland also gets snow. You can take the opportunity to grab the beauty with a fluffy coat. It also has top-notch features like decor and lighting.

Unfortunately, there is a downside with this Cinderella Castle — it is the hardest to get that classicphoto from Main Street. And the reason is that the Main Street of the castle is covered. So, your view outside is limited.

3. Magic Kingdom, Orlando, Florida (Cinderella’s Castle)

The original Cinderella’s Castle is this Magical Kingdom. It is based at Walt Disney World Resort.

Among the many features, the Magical Kingdom is usually massive, iconic, and beautiful. And after you enter this castle, you can see the sparkling gem as you walk through Main Street. You will realise even the size is impressive.

It is a home for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the Cinderella Castle Suite, and Cinderella’s Royal Table. You’ll find it amazing to take photos in this castle.

4. Disneyland Shanghai (Enchanted Storybook Castle)

In Disneyland, Shanghai is where you will find the Enchanted Storybook Castle. It is a massive and stunning castle you’ll find in the world.

The size of this Disneyland castle is impressive and you’ll find it breathtaking while you approach it. Something you can easily note is that all its sides and views are similar. And it means, your photo opportunities at Disneyland Shanghai are limited.

However, this castle scores high in guest interactions because it has a gift shop and a restaurant. The Disney Castle is sparkly, elegant, and child-like which is why most people prefer it.

As you approach Enchanted Storybook Castle, it is like you are visiting Gardens of Imagination. This is due to the massive structure and expansive gardens.

5. Disneyland California (Sleeping Beauty’s Castle)

Why Disneyland California? It is a great place to visit because it is the home to the

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. And also the original Disney Castle.

However, this castle is pretty small but more cartoonish and colourful. It is also less fancy, unlike the newer Disney Castles, making it less sparkly.

If you have kids, this is the right place for them. When in the castle, it feels more like a kids’ place and not the beautiful and magical experience you expect.

The Disneyland Castle is located in the middle of the city. So, it requires more Imagineering to give you an immersive feeling and an upgrade will make it better.

Fortunately, it scores higher points in guest interactions.

6. Disneyland Hong Kong (Sleeping Beauty’s Castle)

Last, on our list is Sleeping Beauty’s Castle based in Disneyland Hong Kong. However, the Castle has had a massive renovation to upgrade it.

Something to note about Disneyland Hong Kong is that it is small — particularly when you compare it with its backdrop mountain.

When approaching this Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Hong Kong, you’re not likely to notice it. The first thing to see is the mountains. These beautiful mountains will detract you from the Castle, which appears to be plopped in front.

Unfortunately, it has fewer attractions. It is a castle that lacks restaurants or shops inside. However, Disneyland Hong Kong is sparkly with some amazing factors.

The smaller size makes it feel cheap and in our ranking, it takes the sixth position. But you can spend quality time visiting the Castle.

Conclusion

The Disney castles are all amazing in their specific ways. While some may be more popular than others, there is no clear consensus on which one is the best. What matters most is which castle speaks to you on a personal level.
