Hi, my name is Vanessa Stratton from Kids Corner, based just outside of Chester, and on behalf of SafeKids.co.uk we are going to advise you on the welfare of your trampoline.

If you buy a decent quality trampoline, there should be no trampoline maintenance and your trampoline should be able to be left outside in your garden all year round for your children to be having fun on.

Please make sure that you check that there is no rust on all the joints, that the toggles are safely tied down so the padding fits the trampoline securely, that you have the correct number of springs for the correct number of holes, and that none of the springs are broken or cracked at all and that there is no tear in any of the padding.

All of these points should be taken into consideration when you are looking at the trampoline that you want to buy for your children.

For more trampoline information, watch our video on Choosing the Right Trampoline and read the article Trampoline Safety For Children on this site.
