Hi, my name is Vanessa Stratton from Kids Corner, just outside Chester, and on behalf of we are going to show you how to climb on a trampoline correctly and bounce safely.

Charlie is going to show you how to climb on the trampoline correctly using the ladder – go on Charlie – and then he is going to start bouncing safely in the middle of the trampoline.

The size of trampoline that Charlie is bouncing on is a 12ft trampoline, and it has a cross in the middle, which is a guide line as to where you should be bouncing, and you should try to keep in the centre of the trampoline, so you are not being pushed outwards.

Charlie can now just bounce along quite happily, doing what he would like to do in a safe way.

If your trampoline doesn’t have a ladder, Sam will show you how to climb onto the trampoline in the correct manner and carry on bouncing. Go on Sam, and again Sam is bouncing in the middle of the trampoline, so he is not being pushed out to the edge of the trampoline and therefore he can carry on bouncing as much as he wants too knowing that he is not going to cause any harm.

There is, of course, a safe way of how to get off your trampoline and Sam is going to show you how to do that. Go on Sam, nice and easy. What you should never do is jump off your trampoline on to the ground – that’s dangerous.
